Gerber LMF II Survival Knife

The Gerber LMF II Survival Knife is one of the most rugged knives I’ve ever reviewed. It cuts firewood, small saplings, rope and cardboard equally well.The over-molded handle successfully offers a good grip. There is complete separation between the tang and butt cap, so the knife absorbs the shocks from hammering. Well placed grooves and lashing holes let the LMF II convert to a spear easily. The sheath is very over-built and easily attaches to a belt or load-bearing rig.
The LMF II has a 4.84 inch blade made of 420HC Stainless blade. The handle is 5.75 inches.
