Bear Grylls Knife Review

The Bear Grylls Knife is a rugged performer and reasonably priced. It is available in the plain edge as reviewed here or in a serrated version. I expect them both to perform equally and base my review solely on my personal preference for a straight edge over the serrated version.

I prefer a non-serrated Survival Knife simply because I like to be able to sharpen my blades quickly in the field with minimal equipment – I also like to be able to employ a leather strop easily, which is much more difficult with a serrated edge.  I just simply prefer an edge that goes all the way from the tip to the hilt.
